Eva M. Ford

Eva M. Ford, 75 of 2130 265th St. died at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at Jefferson County Hospital Long-term Care Unit.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham with the Rev. Jim Cecil officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. A memorial has been established to the long-term care unit activity fund at Jefferson County Hospital.

Mrs. Ford was born May 21, 1925, in Davenport, the daughter of Edward and Della Pierce Boyle. She married Max Julian Ford May 3, 1942, in Memphis, Mo. He died Sept. 28, 1985.

She had lived with her family in Florida before moving back to Iowa to the family farm south of Fairfield when she was 12 years old. She was a homemaker and a resident of Fairfield for most of her life.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann Boysen of Morning Sun and Linda Williams of Birmingham; three sons, Max "Bud" Ford Jr. of Stockport, and Jim Ford and Tom Ford, both of Fairfield; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother of Keosauqua; and three brothers, George Boyle of Fairfield, Richard Boyle of Moline, Ill., and Kenneth Boyle of Fort Meyers, Fla.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father.
