LILLIAN M. THOMAS

Lillian M. Thomas was born March 18, 1899 at Trenton, Iowa and departed this life Thursday, February 9, 1984 in the Wayne County Hospital at Corydon, Iowa at the age of 84.

In 1915, she married John J. Agnew and they had a son, John J. Agnew, Jr. After her first husband's death, she married Dave Thomas in 1936. He also preceded her in death as did her son.

She lived her early life in the Bonaparte area, a number of years in Burlington, and for the past three and a half years, had made her home with her longtime friend, LureLee Zeiss and her family at Seymour, Iowa. The past few months, she resided at the Seymour Care Center.

Graveside services were held Monday, February 13, 1984 at 10 a.m. in Thompson Cemetery southwest of Bonaparte, with Rev. Bob Patterson of the Keosauqua Christian Church officiating. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua was in charge of arrangements.
