Died.

John Matthew Cresswell, infant son of John and Grace Cresswell. He was born April 26, 1902, and died March 2, 1903, having reached the age of 10 months and 3 days. His death was quite sudden and unexpected, he having been seriously ill but a few days.

The funeral services took place at the Cresswell home on Wednesday the 4th and were largely attended, Rev. D. Bancroft of the Baptist church officiating. The interment was in the Harrisburg cemetery.

"Those laughing eyes of thine, fair child
God never wished to weep;
Ere smiles had fled, the shows fell
Of death's long, silent sleep."
