Ruth Ann Dibble was born at Milton, New York, September 15, 1834, and died at Farmington, Iowa, March 7th, 1903, aged 68 years, 5 months and 22 days. The immediate cause of her death was pneumonia.

She was married to Jeremiah Allen Eddy at Farmington in 1856 and to them were born four children, William Walden, Laura Adeline, Anna Mary [and] James Merritt.

William Walden died at the age of three years. Mrs. Laura A. Miller died at Farmington January 21, 1902. The husband and father, J. A. Eddy, died November 14, 1890, aged 68 years.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10, at the Baptist church in Farmington conducted by Rev. Longson.

Bonaparte people extend sincerest sympathy to the remaining son, J. M. Eddy, who has spent several years here and is well known and respected.
