Stanley Delker

Stanley Delker, 79, Farmington, died at 10 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 1998, at Regency Care Center in Norwalk.

The funeral was Wednesday at Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Bill Jenkins officiating. Burial was in Primrose Cemetery in Donnellson. A memorial has been established for Farmington Methodist Church.

Mr. Delker was born March 3, 1919, in Farmington, the son of Benjamin and Lourena Evans Delker. He married Martha M. Krauter Nov. 16, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. She died Nov. 13, 1994.

Mr. Delker was a World War I(?) Army veteran. He managed Farmington Lumber Company for many years. He was a member of Farmington Methodist Church and Farmington American Legion.

Survivors include three sons, Douglas of Clive, Dennis of Fairfield and Darin of Tennessee; one daughter, Diana Curtis of Genoa, Ill.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Melvin of Chesapeake, Ohio; and one sister, Evelyn White of Farmington.

He also was preceded death by his prents and one grandson.
