The sad and unexpected death of Mrs. Cy Anderson occurred last Sunday evening. She has been suffering with heart trouble during the past winter, and while in a serious condition, during the past few weeks had seemed some better, attending to some of the light work at her home. Last Sunday her daughter, Mrs. Lillie Wood with her family, from Ottumwa, came down in their car to spend the day, the mother to go home with them for a visit. In the afternoon they started for Ottumwa, and when near Libertyville, Mrs. Anderson had a coughing spell, to which she was subject, which always tended to weaken the heart. As she became quite weak they thought it better to return and she passed away in a short time after reaching home. Mrs. Anderson has been a resident of Birmingham for quite a number of years and the many friends of the family sympathize with them in their sorrow at this time.
