Death of James Loofbourrow

James Loofbourrow, a veteran of the Fourteenth Iowa Infantry, and a resident of Cedar township, this county, following the war until a couple years ago when he moved to Fairfield from his farm west of Hillsboro, died last Thursday evening after a sickness of two days and was buried at Hillsboro the first of this week. He was not far from 70 years of age and was a splendid citizen. An obituary will likely be furnished us later for publication.
