Death of Former Keosauqua Girl

Last week Dr. Frank McClurg of this place received word announcing the death of his sister Mrs. Cora McChestney at Fresno, Calif., where her home had been for a number of years. She was born and grew to womanhood in Keosauqua, her parents being the late Dr. and Mrs. Joseph McClurg. She died at the age of 48. She is survived by her husband and three brothers, namely, Dr. Curtis McClurg of Milton; Lee McClurg of Oklahoma and Dr. Frank McClurg of Keosauqua. Cora has many old friends here who will be sorry to hear of her departure.
