Rites Monday for Cecilia Davis

KEOSAUQUA-Cecilia A. Davis, 75, of Keosauqua died today at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 18, 1912, in Lockridge, the daughter of Ernest and Olena Klemetson Giese. She married Frank A. Davis June 23, 1940, in Kahoka, Mo. He died June 21, 1985.

She was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in Keosauqua.

Mrs. Davis is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, Karl, and one sister, Frieda.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fell Cemetery, Libertyville with the Rev. Shirley Meendering officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call at the Behner Funeral Home beginning at noon Saturday.
