Mrs. George H. Duty died on Monday morning of this week at her home in Mou.. (missing) ... only a short time. She and her husband visited on Thanksgiving day with relatives at the Floyd Knapp home in Farmington.

Rev. and Mrs. Duty and their two daughters, Grace and Ethel, now Mrs. George Clearman of Oxford, Iowa, and Mrs. Roy Miller of Detroit, were former residents of Bonaparte, he geing(sp) pastor for five years of the Presbyterian church here and was pastor when the present excellent church edifice was erected.

Mrs. Duty was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ellis of Montrose, her maiden name being Isabelle. She was born August 28, 1853. She was a member of the Prebyterian church, member and first president of the Women's Civic Club of Montrose, member and Past Worthy Matron of the Martha Chapter O.E.S., also a member of Chapter AB, P.E.O., of Bonaparte. Montrose had been her home for the past sixteen years.

Besides her family she is survived by two sisters, Miss Mary O. Ellis of Montrose and Mrs. Jennie Shite of Minneapolis and one brother whose home is in Washington.

The many friends in this county extend sincerest sympathy to Rev. Duty and the daughters in this great bereavement.
