Wilma A. Wells, 90, of Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua and formerly of Stockport died at 6:40 a.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at the center.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Spencer Cemetery near Stockport with the Rev. Reva Rimmer officiating. No visitation is planned. Memorials to the family may be left at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 63, Colo 50056.
Mrs. Wells was born Feb. 2, 1909, in Fairfield, the daughter of William and Flora Griffith Johnson. She married Jerry I. Wells July 5, 1930. He died Sept. 5, 1994.
She was a farm homemaker in Jefferson and Van Buren counties, including a number of years near Douds and Stockport.
She had resided at Good Samaritan Center since 1992.
Survivors include two daughters, Louise Ozborn of Bolivar, Mo., and Betty Clark of Colo; twp stepdaughters, Virginia Wells of Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua, and Gertrude Shoemate of Huntsville, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Maryland Joy Wells.
