Charlotte Frances Sharp Lee

Charlotte F. Sharp was born in Cleveland, Ohio, October 25, 1842, and passed away at her home near Milton, Iowa, on Thursday, September 30th, 1915, at 9:15 p.m.

She came with her parents (John and Margaret Sharp) to near Peaksville, Mo, in 1857. She was then united in marriage to Albert G. Lee in 1866. Mr. Lee passed away July 7, 1910.

She and her sister Sarah were the youngest of a family of seven. She is the last of the family.

She moved to the farm south of Milton in 1893 where she lived until her death.

She leaves to mourn five children, one son Elmer having preceded her in death, Mrs. Anna Tatman and Charles Lee, of Hereford, Texas, Mattie Lee, Otis Lee and Austin Lee, of Milton, Iowa. Six grandchildren and a host of other relatives are left to mourn.

Funeral services were held at the home Saturday, conducted by Rev. B. G. Hankins and interment was in the South Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
