MRS. LEO BOLEY SR.

Mrs. Leo Guy Boley, 84, of Birmingham died Monday morning, April 20, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

Lula M. Boley was born on Dec. 26, 1885 in Indiana, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Hulett Curts. She was married to Leo Guy Boley Sr. on Dec. 26, 1909, who prededed in death March 1, 1968.

Survivors include three sons, Leo Boley Jr. of Keosauqua, Kenneth Boley of Bloomfield, David Boley of Bonaparte; two daughters, Mrs. Francis Dooley of Troutdale, Ore., and Mrs. Dorothy Davis of Revere, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and one brother, Clarence Curts of Roseburg, Ore.

Services were held on Thursday, April 23, at the Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, conducted by Rev. Millard Marshall. Burial was in Maple Mill (Hill) Cemetery.

(Son Leo was married to Betty Lou Johnson. Her mother, Hazel L. Lyon Johnson, was my great-aunt.)
