BIRMINGHAM --- The service for Hazel M. Davidson, 77, of Birmingham who died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 1990 in the emergency room of Jefferson County Hospital after being stricken at her home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Birmingham Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Clarkson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation is open at Burch-Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham. A memorial has been established to Birmingham Free Methodist Church
Mrs. Davidson was born Feb. 21, 1913, west of Birmingham, the daughter of Fred and Ada Mathias Countryman. She lived her life in the Birmingham community graduating from Birmingham High School in 1931. She attended Birmingham Free Methodist Church. She married Emmett N. Davidson Dec. 28, 1937. He died Sept. 2, 1966.
Surviving are a son, Stanley and a daughter, Diane Hall, both of Birmingham; six grandchildren and a great-grandson. Her parents and two brothers, Donnel and Merrill Davidson[sic], preceded her in death.
Note: The two brothers should be “Donnel and Merrill Countryman”
