Iva Jacobs rites Wednesday

RICHLAND --- Services for Iva Belle Jacobs, 84, rural Richland, who died at 3:50 a.m. Monday, March 21, 1988, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with Calvin DeVries officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery at Washington. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Jacobs was born Jan. 11, 1904, in Washington County, the daughter of Perry and Augusta Davidson. She married Neal Jacobs June 4, 1934, in Macomb, Ill. He died Jan. 1, 1986. A homemaker, she had lived most of her life in the Birmingham and Fairfield communities.

Surviving are a daughter, Sheila Wicker of Norfolk, Va.; two granddaughters; a great-granddaughter and a sister, Flossie Long of Richland. Six brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
