Ray Buchanan

Funeral services for Ray Buchanan was held at Cody, Wyoming, June 8, with burial beside his wife in Powell, Wyo.

Raymond Earl Buchanan was born in a log house in Southwest Jefferson County, Iowa, Jan. 11, 1892, the second son of David L. and Clara Elva Brown Buchanan, and died unexpectedly at his home in Cody on June 3. He was married to Loren Carmichael, Van Buren County, who preceded him in death.

They farmed in Jefferson County before going to Wyoming for health reasons.

Survivors include one grandson, four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Floyd, Missoula, Mont., Melvin, Cody, Wyo., Albert, Greybull, Wyo., and Harold of Brimingham, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Crawford, Stockport; also several nieces and nephews.
