MRS. GEORGE G. CUPP

Lottie Elizabeth McLain was born Feb. 3, 1875, two miles southeast of Utica, Van Buren county, where she grew to womanhood and died at her home in Keota March 10, 1942. She was the daughter of Robert S. and Amelia Squires McLain. She was one of a family of four, two sisters and a brother preceding her in death.

She was married Sept. 16, 1896, to George G. Cupp, and to this union were born four children, who with the husband survive. They are Mrs. Leland Nelson of Fairfield, Glenn E. of Keota, Otho of West Plains, Mo., and Lester R. of Keota. There are also eight grandchildren. Her home was always near Utica, where she belonged to the Baptist church, until 1905 when the family moved to West Plains, Mo., coming to the Keota community in 1931. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Keota.

Funeral services were held in the Church of Christ in Keota at two o’clock Thursday afternoon, and at Miller Chapel southeast of Birmingham at 4:30, and burial in Miller Chapel cemetery. The Rev. B. R. Fesler conducted both services.
