Funeral Services For Mrs. Alton
To Be Held This Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. E. H. Alton who passed away yesterday afternoon at Jefferson county hospital will be held tomorrow at the Methodist church in Birmingham at 2:30 p.m. Rev. R. T. Richards and Rev. H. C. Irvine , both of Birmingham, will be in charge of the services. Interment will be in maple Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Alton passed away at 1:35 p.m. yesterday after being confined to the hospital for the past seven months. A native of Birmingham, she moved to Fairfield ten years ago. Her husband, who preceded her in death, was funeral director at Birmingham for 41 years. One son Craig, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. J. M. Harper of Fairfield and several nieces and nephews.
