MRS. FRANK CHRISTY

Mrs. Susan Margaret Christy, 87, died at her home in Eldon Monday at 11:25 p.m. after being in poor health the last eight months and seriously ill for two weeks.

She was born in Van Buren county in 1852 and had spent practically all her life in Van Buren and Wapello counties. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Christy, in 1930.

She is survived by two brothers, Jacob D. Hootman of Douds and W. H. Hootman of Birmingham. She was preceded in death by a daughter, three sisters and one brother, besides her husband.

Funeral services will be Thursday, at 1 p.m. at the Campbell funeral home in Eldon in charge of the Rev. Bruce Myers, of Morning Sun, assisted by the Rev. Leo Best of Ottumwa. Burial will be in the Eldon cemetery.

Transcribed for genealogical purposes, I am researching this family.
