RAY C. FITZGERALD

Ray C. Fitzgerald, son of Delbert and Frances Fitzgerald, was born January 9, 1891, at Mt. Sterling and departed this life Monday, October 10, 1977, at Bloomfield Manor at the age of 86.

On June 1, 1915, he married Ethel Harden. They lived many years in the Chicago area, retired to their farm near Mt. Sterling, and later moved to Keosauqua. Mrs. Fitzgerald died in 1973. A son, Floyd, was born August 6, 1916 and died June 10, 1922.

Remaining to cherish his memoriy are two sister-in-law, a niece, a nephew, several cousins, and many friends.

Mr. Fitzgerald was an active member of the Keosauqua Chrisitan Church, and will be remembered as a man who practiced his Christian faith daily.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1977, at 2 P.M. at the Keosauqua Christian Church. Interment was in Harness Cemetery at Mt. Sterling. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
