BEAULAH FAYE KERR

Beaulah Faye Kerr, daughter of William and Dora Miller, was born January 21, 1897 in Scotland County, Mo. where she lived throughout her life. She passed away in the Davis County Hospital at Bloomfield, Ia., Sept. 27, 1977 at 5:00 P.M. at the age of 80 years after a two month illness.

On September 1, 1915 she was united in marriage to William Kerr. To this union two children were born, Clark and Cleva. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her son Clark.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Mrs. Cleva Kerr of Carlisle, Iowa; two grandsons, Leon Kerr of Keokuk, Iowa and Bruce Kerr and his wife Elaine of Council Bluffs, Iowa; three great-grandchildren, David, Sherry and Lee Kerr and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sibyl Kerr of Memphis, Mo.

Beaulah was born, married, celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary and lived for the past 25 years in the same home that her father built in northern Scotland County, Mo. Beaulah enjoyed and was active in the Prairie View Church as long as her health premitted. Her greatest joy was in the pride of her grandsons, Leon and Bruce, who she loved dearly.

Funeral services were conducted by D.W. Payne & Sons from their Memphis Chapel on Friday, Sept. 30, 1977 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Campbell officiating. Interment was in the Prairie View Cemetery in Scotland County, Mo.
