LESTER WOOD

Mrs. Frank Anderson received word last week of the death of Lester Wood at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He had been in failing health for a number of years, suffering at times with severe pain in his head, and had consulted some of the best specialists in the country but found no relief. On March 21 he was taken worse with one of those attacks and a doctor was called and gave him a hypodermic but he never regained consciousness and passed away March 23. He was born March 4, 1876, and was 63 years and 19 days old at the time of his death.

He was married to Viola Bonnett in Birmingham and she and a daughter, Eda, survive him. A son, Harold, passed away several years ago. He is also survived by his sister, Eda. He was a clerk in the Graham and Corry store for a number of years, while living in Birmingham and was a great hustler in whatever he undertook and was truly a self made man.

He was a great friend of the Enterprise and we received a letter from him a short time ago telling us how he enjoyed the Old Time items. He had many friends in the community. Funeral services and burial were in N. M.
