Lloyd Gilbert Henn, 91, of Farmingtom, died at 22:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
He was born February 15, 1912, in Des Moines, New Mexico, to John W. Henn and Grace Bassett Henn.
He was a lifelong farmer and worked construction.
On September 3, 1944, he married Alcene Helterbran in Burlington.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Carol) Muntz of Farmingtom; one son, Wesley Henn and his wife Betty of Farmington; four grandchildren, Thomas Muntz and his wife Maria, Elizabeth "Beth" Muntz, Stuart and Chantry Henn; three stepgrandchildren, Chad Strickler, Adam and Jacob Drummond; and two sisters, Vera Whitmore of Montrose; Myrtle Clinesmith of Springfield, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Farmington and of the Farm Bureau and the Rock and Relics Club. He graduated in 1930 from Montrose High School.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 1, at Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, with Reverend Shawn McAfee officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.
A memorial has been made to the Farmington Fire Department or the Farmington EMT's.
