Frank M. Cox

Frank M. Cox, 74, died Wednesday morning, March 8, at Van Buren County Hospital.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 11, at 1 p.m., at the Birmingham United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Millard Marshall officiating. Interment was in the Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.

Cox was born Oct. 29, 1897, in Troy, Kan., the son of Moses and Mary L. Wykert Cox. He was married on Sept. 29, 1930 to Veda Lenz at Savannah, Mo.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Frank M. Cox Jr., of St. Paul; three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie f. Barnes of Danville, Mrs. Veda M. King of Altus, Okla., and Mrs. Donna Hornberg of Keosauqua; y0 (sic: 10) grandchildren and one brother, Beryl Cox of Wathena, Kan, and two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Dawe of Gilroy, Calif., Mrs. Ruth Doro of St. Joseph, Mo. one grandchild preceded him in death.

Cox had been an employe of IAAP in Burlington until he retired in 1962. He was a member of the Fairfield Eagles Lodge.
