GRACE BAILEY

Grace Coffman Bailey, daughter of A.L. and Martha Roush Coffman, was born April 22, 1877, near Lebanon and departed this life Monday, Jan. 24, 1972 at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 94.

Her life was spent in Van Buren County. She was a seamstress and cared for numerous people who were ill in theis (sic: their) homes throught the county. She was the last of a family of nine children.

Remaining to cherish her memory are several nieces and nephews and a group of very close friends in the Lebanon community and in the Keosauqua congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, of which she was an active member.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 26 at 2 p.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with Lothar Lengtat of Keosauqua Congregation, Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Interment was in the Lebanon cemetery.
