OBITUARY

Chauncey E. Winn, son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Winn, was born near Lebanon, Iowa, April 6, 1886, and passed away at Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Sept. 17, 1927, aged 41 years, 5 months and 11 days.

He grew to manhood on the farm near Lebanon, and in 1908 his parents moved to Milton where he made his home until failing health made it necessary to take him to the State Hospital in Mount Pleasant about fifteen years ago.

The immediate cause of his death was hemorrhage of the brain and his last illness was a short duration.

The father died March 19, 1922. There remains to mourn his loss the mother, Mrs. W. A. Winn, of Milton, Iowa; two brothers, Walter of Milton, Iowa, and Jess of Chicago, Ill., and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. F. Gilbert at the home of the mother, and the remains were laid to rest in Lebanon cemetery.
