Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth C. Robinson died at her home 3 miles southwest of Lebanon, at midnight Monday March 6th.

Consumption had undermined her health and prepared the way for the death stroke, although the extent of its ravages was not suspected. The immediate cause of her death was the birth of a child which came into life Sunday morning, and died about midday Monday, having partaken of the disease which destroyed the life of the mother. Mrs. Robinsons maiden name was Canfield. She was born July 13, 1863. Her whole life was spent in the community where she died. She was converted in her childhood, and was a member of the M. E. church during the remainder of her life. She was united in marriage to Charles Robinson Jan. 16, 1889. The attachment between her and her husband was very tender. She lived a pure and blameless life. The whole community shares with her large circle of relatives the grief of her loss. The funeral was held at the M. E. church in Milton, Wednesday, conducted by Re. H. C. Ethell, of Lebanon, assisted by Rev. Filmer of Milton. Among the tributes of respect was a handsome triangular wreath contributed by Jackson Lodge K. & P. of which her husband was a member. The remains were interred in the new cemetery.
