Lars John Newquist, 74 years old, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at his home near Dudley. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna C. Newquist and the following children: John Newquist of Status, Wash.; Arthur Newquist of Lebanon, Ky.; Albert Newquist of Agency; Arnold Newquist of Chillicothe; Edwin Newquist of Flint, Mich,; Mae Newquist of Hollywood, Calif.; Cecelia Newquist of Anniston, Ala.; Hillie, Hulda and Francis, all at home. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. August Larson of Madison, Minn., one brother, James Newquist of Sweden.

The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock in charge of the Rev. Mr. Howe, of Chillicothe. Interment will be in Columbia cemetery.
