CLAIR R. CREEK

Clair R. Creek, 47, formerly of Mt. Sterling, was dead on arrival at the hospital in Miffintown, Pa. at 7:30 p.m. August 13.

He was born Sept. 27, 1924 at Arbela, Mo., the son of Lee and Lorene Tippett Creek, now deceased. He had lived in Pennsylvania for the past eight years.

He was a veteran of World War II and was a self-employed salesman.

He was married to Jean Wolf of Mt. Sterling, Ia., who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Linda Marie Lincoln of Brandon, Ia., Mrs. Gloria Lincoln of Strawberry Point, Ia., Mrs. Cynthia Ward and Penny Lee Creek; two sons, Randolph and Joseph at home; two sisters, Mrs. Trixie Broom of Memphis, Mo., Gertie Watson of Lanmark, Ill.; five brothers, Wayne, Lee, Sam, Edson and Delbert, all of Illinois.

The body will be brought to the Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua where a visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. in Harness Cemetery near Mt. Sterlilng with Rev. James M. Ford officiating.
