DONNEL E. COUNTRYMAN

The funeral service for Donnel Eugene Countryman, who died April 18, was held on Friday, April 21, 1972, at 2 p.m. at the Birmingham Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Millard Marshall officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 16,1911, near Douds, the son of Fred and Ada Mathias Countryman. He was united in marriage to Ruth Schlarbaum, November 2, 1935 at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Surivving (sp) are his wife, three sons, Harold Dean, Larry and Jerry, and one brother Merril, and a sister, Hazel Davidson, all of Birmingham. Also surviving are five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant grandson.

Mr. Countryman spent his entire life in the Birmingham community, where he and his wife have been engaged in farming. His friends are numbered by his acquaintances and his friendliness will be greatly missed in the entire community.
