Rites for L.L. Parsons

DOUDS - Leslie L. Parsons, 93, formerly of Douds, died at his home in Sunland, Calif. Monday.

The service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Farrara Memorial Chapel in Sunland. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Leando Cemetery with Dr. Chris Daniel officiating. Arrantements (sic: Arrangements) are in charge the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds.

The son of Miller and Eliza Rambo Parsons, he was born April 4, 1887 at Douds. He taught school for several years at Selma and later operated a dairy in Fairfield.

He married Effie Doud, who services.

Also surviving are two sons, Warren Parsons, LaCrescenta, Calif., and Gene Parsons, Mission Viejo, Calif., one daughter, Lois Pease, Sunland, calif., 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by one brother, Mark Parsons, Sun City, Ariz., and four sisters, Ethel Smith and Eleanor Fickel, both of Fairfield, Etha Gay and Edna Reams, both of Sun City, Ariz.
