James Roberts

James Lee Roberts, 59, of Milton, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2002 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with the Rev. Justin DeVries officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton. Visitation will open at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 309 E. Harrison, Milton 52570.

Mr. Roberts was born July 31, 1942 in Milton, the son of Marion W. and Dorothy Nichols Roberts. He married Georgia Moffett. They were divorced.

He graduated from Milton High School and worked at Louden Machinery Co. in Fairfield and at lumber yards in Donnellson and Fairfield. He had been disabled for several years.

Survivors include two sons, James Linn Roberts of Coralville and Jay Roberts of Renton, Wash.; his parents, of Milton; and one sister, Debbie Dickman of Pasco, Wash.
