Last Rites For Mrs. Lawson Will Be Held Friday

BIRMINGHAM, Ia. -- Funeral services will be held here Friday for Mrs. Flora Belle Lawson, 93, who died Wednesday at the Griffin Nursing home in Fairfield.

Last rites will be held at 2 p.m. at the Burch-Catcott Funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. C. Irvine. Burial will be in Fell cemetery at Libertyville.

Mrs. Lawson was born in Ohio Jan. 8, 1861, the daughter of Greer and Mary Tedrow McKee. She came to Iowa as a small child, spending the remainder of her life in Van Buren and Jefferson counties.

She was married to James F. Lawson Oct. 4, 1882. He preceded her in death Aug. 15, 1947. Mrs. Lawson was a member of the Birmingham Presbyterian church.

She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: W.G. McKee, Boulder, Colo., John McKee, Fairfield; Mrs. Eliza Simpson, Birmingham; Mrs. Rosetta Lawson, Fairfield; Dr. Jennie McKee, Philadelphia, Pa.; Mrs. Nora Kirkhart, Libertyville.

One sister and three brothers are deceased.
