Death takes Mrs. Munson

BIRMINGHAM --- Hattie Munson, 82,died Wednesday morning at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

The service will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham. The Rev. Dan Munson and Elder Joseph Twing will officiate. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will meet with friends tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home. Memorials to Gideon International may be left at the funeral home.

The daughter of William H. and Emma M. Mallory Webber, she was born Oct. 29, 1887 near Stockport.

She married Marion J. Munson, Nov. 20. 1907. He preceded her in death Oct. 14, 1958.

She is survived by three daughters, Grace McKee, Birmingham, Eva Wolfe, Mount Pleasant and Marjorie Linn, Huntsville, Ala.; one son, Harold Munson, Lockridge; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by two sisters, Maude Scott, Tacoma, Wash., and Ethel Horne, Thousand Palms, Calif. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Munson was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Fairfield.
