Gertrude Wright, 94, native of Missouri, died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Parkview Care Center where she had been a resident since 1976.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Interment will be in the Glasgow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Gertrude Wright was born Sept. 22, 1886, in Memphis, Mo., the daughter of Elisha B. and Ellen W. Kellog. She was reared and educated in Memphis.

Her marriage to Otho Chester Wright Oct. 23, 1904, in Gorin, Mo. He died Oct. 10, 1937.

Mrs. Wright spent most of her married life in Van Buren County and moved to Fairfield in 1956.

Mrs. Wright is survived by three daughter, Maxine Wright and Annabelle Jester, both of Fairfield, and Pauline Wallace, Ottumwa; one son, Eugene Wright, Birmingham; 28 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by four sons, two daughters, one brother and one sister.
