STOCKPORT---Kathryn M. Calhoun, 85, Stockport, died Thursday afternoon the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital.
The service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with the Re. Richard Devore officiating. Interment will be in Miller’s Chapel Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
The daughter of L. W. and Rose Johnston Dodds, she was born Oct. 29, 1894 at Utica. She married Claude Calhoun who preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1959.
She is survived by a son, William V. Calhoun, Fairfield, a daughter, Ethelyn Rose Oates, Milwaukee, Wis., six grandchildren, two brothers, Harv Dodds, Stockport and Dee Dodds, Leesburg, Va., and three sisters, Fanchon Dods[sic], Aurora, Ill., Lura Strong, Chicago and Erma Duncan, California.
