Sudden Death At Bonaparte
----------
(From Our Bonaparte Correspondent)

Thomas F. Gibbs, aged nearly 77, was found dead in his home here Thursday morning, March 1, by neighbors who called at the house but could not arouse him. He was in his usual when last seen the middle of the preceding afternoon. He was born in Indiana, April 12, 1840, but most of his life was spent in Bonaparte. He was married twice. Five of his first wife’s children survive: Mrs. Fannie Bremhorst of Ottumwa, Iowa; Mrs. Etta Rechel of Tulsa, Okla.; John of Ottumwa; C. A. of Galesburg, Ill., and George of Ottumwa, and all were present at the funeral. Five children were born to his record[sic] wife, but only two could be present. Their mother died some years ago. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon.
