ZENETTA CORRY

Zenetta Edyith Storm Corry, 89, of Bonaparte died at 6:06 p.m. March 6, 1996 at the home of her daughter, Janet Richardson in Bonaparte.

She was born September 17, 1906 at Stiles, Iowa to Frank and Daisy Jackson Storm. She married Frank M. Corry, Jr. February 14, 1926 in Birmingham. He died in 1972.

She graduated from Birmingham High School and taught in rural schools. She was a Methodist, a member of Bentonsport Ladies Aid, Keosauqua Book Club, P.E.O., T.T.T., a 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star, and held a private aircraft pilot’s license.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Bentzinger if Independence and Janet Richardson of Bonaparte, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Her parents, a brother, Lowell Storm, and a great grandson preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 1996 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, Rev. Richard Eis officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham.

Memorials to Bonaparte First Responders, Maple Hill Cemetery, or Keokuk Alzheimers Support Group may be left at the funeral home.

Note: I do question has to if “Edyith” is misspelled.
