RICHARD A. McROY

Richard Allen McRoy, son of Robert and Helen Roberts McRoy, was born July 19, 1955 at St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life Monday, December 9, 1991 in an auto accident southeast of Fairfield, Iowa.

He grew up and attended school in St. Louis, and served in the United Sates Army from 1972 until 1974. He was employed as a nurse’s aide at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua, and lived in Birmingham.

He married Carol Tregellas Wiewel April 14, 1989 at Wichita, Kansas.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol, a daughter by a previous marriage, Tina McRoy, Bowling Green, Kentucky, his parents of Alvaton, Kentucky, two brothers, Michael of Alvaton and Roger, St. Louis and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 12, 1991 at 3 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds, Iowa, with Rev. Paul Campbell officiating.

Interment was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Douds.

A memorial was established.
