Ellen Slaughter Barr.

Ellen Slaughter Barr was born Feb. 23, 1835, and departed this life Monday evening, April 5, 1909, aged 74 years, 1 month, and 13 days.

She was married first to J. J. Edmonson, and several years after his death was again married to Mr. James Barr who departed this life March 21.

One week following the death of her husband, she was taken seriously ill with bronchial trouble and rapidly grew worse until she quietly passed away. She leaves two sons and three daughters to mourn her departure.
