MaBelle Maurine Whitmore.

Miss MaBelle Maurine Whitmore, youngest daughter of mr. and Mrs. H. L. Whitmore of Bonaparte was born July 5, 1906, and died April 17, 1911, her earthly visit covering a period of but four years, nine months, and twelve days. Her life, although short was full of sunshine and continual happiness, and her illness was of but few days duration.

A few days ago when talking with her mother about her approaching birthday, she said, "I am never going to be five years old. I am always going to be mamma's baby." This remark means a great deal more to her parents now than at the time it was made.

Her parents, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Schmidt, and one sister together with numerous relatives and a host of friends survive her untimely decease. Her life has not been lived in vain, for there remain of her short and happy existence sweet memories of her sweet face and baby expressions.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. church Wednesday, April 19, in charge of Rev. J. H. Taylor of Farmington.

The many friends of the bereaved family extend sincerest sympathy to them in this sudden breaking of the joyous home circle.
