F. L. VAN STEINBURGH

Foster Van Steinburgh, 79, of Cantril, died Monday, September 11 at 10:30 P.M. at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

He had been a Troy telephone operator and a hardware merchant.

The son of Henry and Louisa Johnston Van Steinburgh, he was born March 17, 1888, at Cantril. His marriage to Muriel Keller took place July 17, 1909. She survived. He is also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Helen Halberstadt of Ventura and Mrs. Martha Wellborn of Donnellson and a sister, Mrs. Emma Sadler of Milton.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 14, at 2 P.M. at the Cantril Methodist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Herbert Phillips, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

I am related to this family by marriage.
