Cora Van Stienburg

Cora B. Van Stienburg, 72, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, April 20, at the Park Manor nursing home Burlington.

She was born June 14, 1899, in Indiana, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Cook Heare. She married Verne Van Stienburg, Oct 9, 1926. He died Aug. 14, 1970. She has lived in Burlington since 1964, before that for many years in Stockport.

Surviving: Three daughters, Mrs. Wilson Swailes, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. E. D. Webb, Burlington, and Mrs. Betty R. Hill, Mesa, Ariz.; one son, George H., Ft. Huachuca, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Linton and Mrs. Ada Yeakle, both of Midland, Mich.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Chester C. Werft; Spencer cemetery, Stockport. The body is at the Behner funeral home in Fairfield.
