Mrs. Ella Warner.

Born March 10, 1870, died Nov. 6, 1911, is the simple inscription which contains a world of sorrows for the relatives and friends of the late Eleanor A. Smith. Sad, infinitely sad, is the ending of this useful life.

Born in Bonaparte, Ia., she entered the Bonaparte public school where she received her education. She was converted and joined the Methodist church in her early youth where she was always an earnest worker, her sweet voice being heard for years in all the services of the church.

She was married July 7, 1902, to Lewis W. Warner. To this union was born one child, Karl Smith Warner.

She is survived by her husband, one son, an aged mother, Mrs. Emily Smith, of Orange, Cali., two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Perkins of Bonaparte, Iowa, and Mrs. Alice Kate Whitsell of Orange, Calf., two brothers, Oscar P. Smith of Topeka, Kan., and Albert A. Smith of Riverside, Cali; her father, three brothers and two sisters having preceded her to the better land.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. church Thursday afternoon in charge of J. H. Taylor, pastor of the church and the body was laid to rest in the Bonaparte cemetery.
