Pettit, pastor of the Christiansburg church, after which the body was shipped from Ottumwa to Bloomfield and thence overland to Milton, where the funeral service was held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the M. E. church, Rev. Tennant preaching the sermon. A select choir furnished the music with Miss Meroe Jack at the organ. The interment was in the Lebanon cemetery beside their little babe.
