TROY --- Bessie M. Moughler, 67, died Friday at 9:30 p.m. at University Hospitals in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness. She was a retired school teacher, having taught 25 years in the Davis County schools.

She was born in Norton, Kan., to Robert C. and Della Brunk Logue. Nearly a life long resident of Davis County, she was a member of the Troy United Methodist Church and the National Retired Teachers Association.

She married Lewis M. Moughler June 6, 1928, in Bloomfield. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Armstrong of Bloomfield; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Phillips of South St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Gladys Jones of Bloomfield, and one brother, Harold Bradbury of Hamilton, Mo.

Her husband and three brothers preceded her in death.

The service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, conducted by the Rev. J. E. McClellan. Burial will be in the Pulaski, Iowa, Cemetery.
