MILTON RESIDENT DIES AT AGE 90

Daniel L. Thompson Succumbs At
Daughters Home After Stroke.

Milton --- Daniel Lafayette Thompson, 90, died Sunday about 8 p.m., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T. A. Houlhan, in Milton.

His death followed a paralytic stroke suffered Saturday morning. Mt. Thompson had lived most of his life in the Milton and Cantril vicinity.

For the last several years he had lived with his daughter in Milton. He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Houlhan and Mrs. B. F. Martin, both of Milton, Mrs. Carrie Harbin of Ottumwa and Mrs. Alta Drummond of Memphis, Mo., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Christian church in Cantril at 10 a.m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. A. M. Hadley, pastor. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Paul Kittle and Harold Kittle, Melvin Drummond and Hollis Drummond.

Burial will be in the Cantril cemetery.
