Combs – Joseph Frankie, little son of John and Josephine Combs, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 20, at 2:30 a.m. of membraneous[sic] croup, aged 3 years 7 months and 7 days.

Little Frankie was born in Farmington and was a bright and sunny little fellow the pride of parents and friends. He was taken with a slight sore throat Thursday morning of last week and medical attendance was called. Saturday he played around and seemed well but the fatal disease was fastening on him all the time.

The funeral occurred Wednesday after noon at 2:30 from the family residence Rev. Jas. McKiarnan officiating.

And the Savior who said
“Let them come unto me”
Has taken little Frankie
An angel to be.
