Adaline Exenia Von Segan, 1866-1901

Adaline Exenia Von Segan was born at Sweet Home, Mo., Aug. 6, 1866, and died May 13, 1901, making her 34 years, 9 months and 7 days old. She was left an orphan by her mother’s death when she was but 6 years of age. Soon after she went to and made her home with Mrs. Levi Zane until she was married to Mr. Fred Von Segan, Oct. 15, 1885, who with two sons, Loyd and Elmer, remain to mourn her death. She was converted and united with the M. E. church in the winter of 1883, under the labors of Bro. Tenant, then pastor of the M. E. church. She claimed the blessing of entire santifleation in the winter of 1890, through the efforts of Bro. Besty. The funeral services were held at the residence, conducted by Rev. George H. Wehn. There was a large attendance at the service. Interment took place in the Farmington cemetery.
