At her residence, No. 129 North First street at 4 o’clock yesterday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Rozilia Heaight, after an illness of about six months, which developed into paralysis toward the last. The deceased was well known in the city having been a re4sident for forty years. She was born in New York state, November 18, 1822, and in 1835 came west, settling at Farmington, Iowa. Three years later she was united in marriage to Thomas Heaight, who died thee years ago, and 1851 she came to Keokuk. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Mary Bowles of Farmington, who was present when she died. --- Friday’s Gate City. Mrs. Heaight was well known in Farmington and has many old friends here as well as relatives who were saddened to hear of her death. In the disposition of her property she generously remembered her sister Mrs. Bowles and her niece Mrs. McElroy, both living west of this city. We understand the latter received by the will the splendid farm on which they live.
